Alexander McQueen

Alexander Mcqueen by Anne Deniau.

Has and always have been my favourite designer of all time. Eccentricity sits well with me and he's exactly it. All of he's designs are beautifully made with the finest and intricate details. It's such a waste that this amazing man is no longer around. He's a designer that breaks the rules and everything he has done is out of this world.

Some of he's dresses made an impact in the fashion world.

The last dress that came one was unexpected, in a good way. It was just a plain white dress and then something magical happens. The machine at the side (which was pretty much stagnant throughout the entire show) began to move and started spraying the dress with paint. It was marvellous and still talked about today.

Another exquisite dress made out of silk and fresh flowers. My personal favourite out of all the garments he has ever made. It was designed to fall apart while wearing. It epitomized fashion and at the same time demonstrated it's ephemeral futility.

This was the last collection McQueen showcased before he's death. The talking point of the entire collection were the interestingly designed shoes. Which I thought were genius. He did not disappoint till the very end.

Alexander McQueen also had interesting runway shows.

He unleashed rain on this runway, the models were soaked to the bones.

After all the models have walked, the last model came out in a very eye-catching dress and then suddenly there's flames surrounding her.

The models were chess pieces.

Kate Moss' famous Hologram. It was shown towards the end of the runway show and it was certainly spectacular.

There's a long list of the things he did and the world he has created that are way out of anyone's boxes and all the rules are broken. I think it is evident in what I've shown so far. One day, maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to work under he's company. It'll be just absolutely marvelous. A girl can dream can she?
